Tell us how you felt about the level of service DJNYC Music Service has provided for your event.

These guys are the best of the best if you're looking for a DJ in NYC. I used them for a corporate schmoozing-type event on June 16th, 2009. It's the 4th time in a row that I've used them for this party. This year the turnout was huge and the music was the perfect mix of funk, ambient electronic, world, soul, and pop to keep everyone's feet moving without them even realizing they were dancing. The subliminal effect of the music is wonderful. Conversation was plentiful and upbeat, drinks were copious, and the music held everything together through a meandering path of perfect ups and downs that were never predictable, but never out of place. The crowd stayed well beyond the open bar, and so did the DJs! Staying at least a full 90 minutes past the end of the event, and telling me they were happy to do it for free. These guys get the vibe you're looking for and they know how to execute it. If you want to hire a DJ that's going to understand exactly what you want so that you don't have to spend a second worrying about the DJ again these guys are it.

Everyone was out on the dance floor the whole night and kept coming over to us to tell us how they'd never danced so much at a wedding. It's not just our biased opinion, we've heard from everyone from friends our age to older guests that it was the most fun they've had at a wedding.

DJ NYC were amazing DJ's. We heard over and over again from our friends after the wedding that the music was one of the standouts of the evening. There were people on the dancefloor that never dance and all of our guests had such a great time.

They were fantastic to work with. They collaborated closely with us to pick the right playlist that represented who we are as a couple and bringing a huge amount of fun into the process.

What we really loved about working with DJNYC is that they really know and are really passionate about music. We met with a ton of DJ's in planning for the wedding and they were the smartest, best and most creative.

You guys were everything we had hoped for and then some. One of my wishes was to have all my friends and family dancing until curfew and it happened in the most extraordinary way. We did hear those must play songs while people were eating. You dealt with family requests in such a respectful way (um, more Trojans fight song?) The sparklers to Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire"...did that really happen?

We were hesitant to use a DJ because we didn't want the typical cheesy DJ vibe and same old wedding songs, but once we met with you guys we knew you were different and have similar taste in music as we do. I knew from the first meeting that these guys were going to be exactly what we wanted for our wedding. Not only are they incredibly knowledgeable about and willing to play obscure post punk, new wave, indie rock, etc., but they had great suggestions from many more different eras of music, and will dig up very cool less familiar tracks by well known acts that still completely fit the bill. I still to this day get people telling me how blown away they were by the music at our wedding. How many times have you heard that about other weddings? It�s rare to find DJs so passionate about what they do. Every step of the way they talked with us at length to get everything exactly right, making sure that we were on the same page with the schedule of events, and they pretty much left no stone unturned digging up each and every song of our specific request list. Thanks guys! We can�t thank you enough for making our day even more perfect.

All I can say about you guys is YOU ROCK! We loved how you made us feel comfortable and really listened to what we wanted. You had great suggestions but were not pushy. After our first meeting we left saying "yea these are the right guys for us."

The wedding was by far the best day of our lives... so far. Everyone danced until the very end, even with the extended hour, we couldn't get enough. I knew that the DJ is like the most important part of the weddding because if you have good music, people will party. We gave you guys a few songs and a general idea of what we wanted to hear, and you ran with it. The music never stopped, there was never a dull moment and most importantly to us you guys were not overbearing... it was perfect. I wish we could get married again just so you guys could be there to dj it.

DJNYC did an amazing job at our wedding Royalton Roslyn Country Club May 24, 2009. They were very attentive to feeling out our music tastes as well as feeling out the needs of the crowd to keep the dancing going. They played a large range of music throughout the event including the cocktail hour. They were completely on top of everything. During our ceremony they seamlessly mixed in sound clips at just right moments. They even helped us show a short film that the best man prepared. We were most impressed with their ability to somehow loop one of our procession songs (The world Spins Madly on, by the Weepies) so that a line that says "I wish that I was dead" was never heard. These guys have a personal touch and are very professional. Thank you Sean and Dan.

Hi Guys!! I cannot tell you how thrilled we were with the way you ran our wedding reception that night. We initially met you over a year before what turned out to be our wedding date yet when we had the conversation to iron out the details, it was as though we had had our first pow-wow just weeks before. You take your role in these events very seriously, but somehow manage to be laid back and approachable for the entire duration. The music was great! Everyone still talks about how fun it was, and how much they appreciated the old school stuff from our college days. You managed to put together a great assortment of music and every few minutes I realized that you were playing one of the songs we requested. I have heard of many couples being disappointed with their DJs because they never hear certain songs they requested. That just didn't happen with you guys at all! If we went up to make a request you took that request and also took the opportunity to touch base with us on other songs you were thinking of throwing out there. You guys are fabulous and we are so glad we found you for our wedding!

Simply amazing.... thats all there is to say about what you guys pulled off for us.

My father who has got to be one of the hardest critic when it comes to music (he used to be the production manager and a DJ in Korea in his younger days) specifically mentioned the music and how much he loved it, especially the jazz stuff you guys played early on.

We have got to say that you guys were so much more then what we expected and we expected a LOT from you guys!

Three years in a row, and you have yet to disappoint. Our company's event has grown in attendance each year, and I'm convinced that it's you guys that keep the party going until everyone is having more fun than they should on a weeknight. Thanks so much for your continued attention to the detail of our event. It's important to us that we project a very specific image to our clients, and you guys put that image forth perfectly, with only the most elementary explanation of what we want. You have great instincts. You know how I can get obsessive about what music is playing when, and yet, when you guys are in the booth, I have no worries. I just sit back, have a cocktail, and enjoy the beat.

You guys were great, everyone was coming up to either myself or John during the evening and complimenting us on what a wonderful music selection you played, including one of our family friends who owns a small, eclectic music store in Huntington. He's really into some cool and obscure stuff, and he told me it was the best music he's ever heard at a wedding!

John's friends also came up to me and said they enjoyed all the music - you certainly got them up and dancing, which is a challenge, believe me.
